How does Pomodoro work?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that uses focused work intervals followed by short breaks to maintain concentration and prevent burnout.

  1. Focus — Work on a single task for 25 minutes (one "pomodoro")
  2. Short break — Take a 5-minute break to rest your mind
  3. Repeat — After 4 pomodoros, take a longer 15-minute break

Tip: During focus time, avoid all distractions. During breaks, step away from your screen.
